About
Always Sunny & Clear/ Teresa Magnuson
Sunny & Clear is the name brand of designer + artist, Teresa Magnuson. Teresa specializes in surface design and turns her art into fabrics, home decor and laser cut gifts.
Her mission is to bring you joy, make you laugh, or best of all– bring out the "sunshine."
"I like the idea of taking something ordinary (or pesky) and making it fun...giving it a playful twist."
Teresa starts the process by turning her sketches into patterns using Adobe Illustrator, and transfers those patterns onto fabric or other surfaces.
Some of Teresa's first fabric designs depicted sunfish and mosquitos, tossed around in a colorful collection. For the coming season, find laser cut wood as a new "surface" for her designs and gift items.
Inspiration for Teresa’s Sunny & Clear brand name derived from growing up in the Land of Ten Thousand Lakes and the delight of a perfect sunny day.

More About How She Got Started
Teresa grew up with a brain for math and a heart for creating things. When she had to decide on a career, she followed her heart– she got her degree in graphic design and apparel design. At that point, she could design and sew anything from fabric. But with the internet making its debut, she chose to focus on the marketing side of things and worked as a graphic designer for most of her career.
With an affinity for industrial-design and special effects, she spent sixteen years as Art Director where she engineered wicked-cool sports graphics for colleges and pro teams. Today a more playful aesthetic sneaks into her work, especially her fabric designs. Recently she joined a talented marketing team as multimedia/digital designer, where her day job consists of creating custom websites and uncanny (but effective) graphics for digital marketing channels.

My Design Work Space
I am curious and often inspired when I see other designer work spaces. My home office is currently painted tangerine orange with my favorite Picasso on the wall. My pug doesn’t normally try to sit at my chair, I definitely propped him up there only because he really is close by most hours spent at the computer! And yes, he snores!!!
